Hey everyone! My name is Japman Bajaj, a recent graduate from Carleton University in Commerce:Finance at Sprott.

I’m a youth leader in the city, and a proud co-founder of #GenYOTT, Ottawa’s most active social and networking oriented event for the Generation Y crowd.

I’m also proud to be a contributor to TalentBridge, as well as a friend of the Ottawa Innovation Challenge and other upcoming entrepreneurship oriented events.

I’m very interested in Social Media, and have been doing some self-training in that discipline for about a year now. I’m currently involved in Social Media initiatives across Canada, and am looking forward to growing that side of my life over the next 9 months and into 2011.

I’m a passionate Ottawan, always eager to at least try something once if I see its benefit for the city. I’ve been extremely interested in social ventures ever since my experience with SIFE at Carleton University, where I was selected as one of just 15 Student Leaders across the country to sit at a luncheon with C-level executives from Canadian companies such as Telus, Tim Horton’s, TD Bank, and CollegePro among others.

I’m a natural creative, and always conceptualizing new businesses. I’m proud to be part of the Social Media team at TEDxCarletonU, and will be tweeting often the night of the event. I’ll also be looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible!
