I’m a web security researcher, with a focus on making security accessible, understandable and possible for regular folk. I’m doing some neat stuff that involves taking the way the page looks as a way to make it more secure.

I’m also an open source developer on the steering committee for the GNU Mailman mailing list manager. This summer, I’ll be mentoring a few Google Summer of Code students who will be working on improved Mailman archives for Systers (who use mailing lists to connect women in technology).

And I do about a bazillion other things, so here’s a few links for stuff I do
- I write for http://geekfeminism.org
- I volunteer for http://linuxchix.org
- I write and take photos for http://cuwise.blogspot.com
- Photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/terrio
- Personal website: http://terri.zone12.com
- Blog: http://terriko.dreamwidth.org

And even though the links don’t show it, I’m also a field naturalist. But I keep those notes in real paper notebooks that can handle being dragged around in the rain.
I’m really looking forwards to meeting new people at TEDx tomorrow, especially people who do really different stuff from what I do!
