As noted in a previous blog, “curating” an event such as TEDxCarletonU involves much more than selecting cool speakers and managing logistics.   As Curator of TEDxCarletonU, I wanted to create a positive experience for attendees not only with respect to the presentations but also in the quality of the networking opportunities with other audience members.  Since there is limited ”face-time” available for networking during the event, I thought to use the versatility of social media tools like Twitter to “connect and engage” audience members prior to the event itself
